The 75 voices of the Irondequoit Chorale founded by Heide Jorgensen-Murray consisting of men and women from all over the Rochester area specialize in the performance of short and medium length choral music of many styles including classical, world folk, spirituals and Broadway. The group has been performing since 1994, with Eric Trumpowsky as its director since 2001 and Richard Volpe as it's accompanist since 1998. Performances have included Mozart's Requiem and Glenn McClure's "Caribbean Christmas Mass" with Pan Loco Steel Band. The Chorale performs 3 major concerts each season, usually at our "home base", The Irondequoit United Church of Christ. The Chorale also sings for special events such as the Rochester Marine Tattoo, the Oath of Citizenship Ceremonies for the County of Monroe and are proud to have been asked to lend their voices to the annual Irondequoit Emergency Service Providers Memorial that takes place every May. In addition the Chorale participates in the Town of Irondequoit 4th of July celebrations and the Town's Christmas Tree Lighting. Outside of the Town of Irondequoit, the Chorale has performed with The Greece Choral Society, the Penfield Symphony Orchestra and has performed at the Eastman Theater, the Riverside Convention Center, with members of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and several churches in Washington DC including the NATIONAL CATHEDRAL and in Montreal, Canada.

The Irondequoit Chorale concerts are shown at 5:00PM every Sunday, 4:30 PM every Friday and 6:30PM every Saturday evening on ICAT Channel 15 in Irondequoit. Please tune in and please come and join us at any or all of our occasions and enjoy the sounds of 70 wonderful voices.

Thanks for looking!!! Have a Musical Day...
